The DAT's dual action selector wheel - power button - and the function buttons are conveniently located so you can move leads and probes freely for one-handed operation. This kit includes the ignition DAT and a complete lead set to accomplish those tests - battery - manual - and storage case. Features: Digital Multimeter: Autoarranging for AC/DC volts - resistance and amps; measures duty cycle - frequency - temperature - and RPM; continuity and diode test capabilities; plus MIN - MAX - Delta - Adjustable Logic Probe - much more... Battery Drain Test: Parasitic battery drain tester featuring self-calibration Electrical System Test: Look for bad grounds - voltage drops - intermittent connections - or sources of high resistance; charging system test Sensor Tests: Quick and accurate diagnosis of the complete o2 circuit. Glitch capture feature identifies dropouts through the range of a TPS sensor. Includes custom setup for MAP - MAF - EGR - Crank - and Magnetic sensors Fuel System Tests: LEDs act as noid lights when the DAT is connected to the fuel injector; measures injector on-time and peak voltage simultaneously. A separately available pressure adapter reads line pressures. Ignition System Test: DAT is also complete in-board kV tester. Measures Peak Voltage or Burn Voltage with Burn Time simultaneously.
